Margaret Harrison

I just came across this visual artist, Margaret Harrison . I like these particular tongue-in-cheek paintings, a little sexy, a little kinky, a little Olivia. This feminist artist also has some darker work regarding violence against women. I think I'd like to curate a show called Violence FOR Women, with various torture devices, visual and actual. This is a Femme Domme society, World, don't you get it?

Art from the New World at Bristol City Museum

More reasons to be back in London! I came across this gallery opening and was immediately struck by this painting because it reminds me of so many parties I have been to in LA!

Los Angeles’ Corey Helford Gallery is collaborating with Bristol’s City Museum & Art Gallery to put on this show, Art from the New World. Looks naughty and artistic, just my style. It opens tonight, May 15 in Bristol. Check it out if you are in the UK. Hopefully it will come across the pond.

And speaking of red-heads, check out this stained glass!

My grandfather was a glazier and I'm lucky to still have some of his pieces, such as light fixtures and suncatchers, unfortunately I do not have a place to put them up in my current abode, but perhaps this Eroti-glass by Wilson is more my speed these days.

Kinky art can sometimes, well, usually be horribly cliched and remind me of something in the dark lair of a rich gigolo's penthouse, right before Babe in the Woods shows up. This lady has got the right idea to perfectly meld class, art and kink. Well-done.

God, how I love redheads.
